Helen M. Rodney, 95, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Bonham's Nursing Center, Stillwater, where she resided for the last four years.

Mrs. Rodney was born in Port Griffith, on Feb. 21, 1923, and was the daughter of the late George and Anna Stec Tylutki.

Helen worked at McGregors Shirt Factory in Nanticoke and United Pants in Plymouth, retiring at the age of 62.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Rodney; brothers, John and Andrew Tetlock and Stanley, Frank and Edward Tylutki; and sisters, Stella Spencer and Mildred Holmes.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Carole Ann Janik and her husband, Raymond, Ventura, Calif.; son, James E. Rodney and his wife, Bethanne, Hunlock Creek; daughter, Kathleen Yarnell and her husband, William, Benton; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 state Route 29, Hunlock Creek, with the Rev. Alex Roche officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
