Helen M. Dula, 89, formerly of Hanover Township, and Union, N.J., passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Raleigh, N.C.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on Sept. 2, 1924, to the late Frank and Helen Demorat Sinzdak, Helen became a beloved sister and aunt, devoted friend, avid traveler, Giants fan, and animal lover with a special fondness for cats (the feelings were mutual).
Helen graduated from Hanover High School in 1942. Committed to her profession, she rose through the ranks at RCA in New Jersey, where she retired as a supervisor in 1980.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William Dula.
She is survived by her brother, Walter Sinzdak and his wife, Dolores, Edison, N.J.; her brother, Ronald Sinzdak and his wife, Mary, Clayton, N.C.; and her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen's Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday in Exaltation of the Holy Cross Parish, 420 Main Road, Hanover Township. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
