Henry E. Kuhns, 71, a resident of Mountain Top since 1965, passed away Friday, morning, Feb. 1, 2013, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Abraham and Ruth (Walters) George. He was educated in Wilkes-Barre schools and was a graduate of GAR High School, Class of 1959.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Henry was employed for many years by numerous factories in the Crestwood Industrial Park as an industrial electrician. He was last employed by CertainTeed Corp., Mountain Top, retiring in 1999. Henry was an avid fisherman.
Henry was preceded in death, in addition to his wife, Lorraine, in 2002, by his sister, Helen.
Survivors are a daughter, Karen Coach and husband, Robert, Blythburne; a son, Timothy, at home; and a sister, Lena Perrin and husband, Barry, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Monday from the Desiderio Funeral Home Inc., 436 S. Mountain Boulevard, Mountain Top, with funeral services at 5 p.m. Friends may pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
