Hiram Dennis Booth, 93, of Wyoming, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2017, in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Plains Twp.

Born in West Wyoming, he was the son of the late Harry and Harriet Pearens Booth.

A graduate of West Wyoming High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served in the South Pacific. After his return, he was employed at B.F. Goodrich, Exeter. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 6518, Exeter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, in 2008.

Surviving are his sons, David Booth and companion, Alberta Searfoss, Wyoming; and Ronald Booth and wife, Linda, Danville; grandson, David Booth Jr.; granddaughter, Michelle Consenza and husband, Eugene; and great-granddaughter, Casandra Consenza.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Laura Lewis of the Wyoming Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
