Irene V. Andresky, 90, of Wilkes-Barre died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in the Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Kingston, daughter of the late Anthony and Emily Boben Muskas. She was a graduate of Kingston High School, and was a member of the former St. Hedwig's Church, Kingston, until its closing, and currently a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
Irene was very proud of the volunteer work that she did at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, and also the work she did for Weight Watchers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Andresky.
She is survived by her son, George Andresky and his wife, Mary, Kingston; and daughter, Deborah Dobbs, with whom she resided.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerby Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church.
Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
