James Stahley Obituary
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he settled in Spotswood 47 years ago. He was an Army veteran during World War II. He retired as general foreman in 1982 from Okonite Cable Co. During his tenure with Okonite, he also served as president of the AFL-CIO union. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Alice Dowling Stahley, Spotswood, N.J.; son, James Stahley and wife, Maryanne, Spotswood, N.J.; grandchildren, Rod Stahley and wife, Samantha; Drew Stahley and wife, Ali; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Megan, Olivia and Cooper Stahley.
The funeral was held Saturday. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, N.J.
