Jean T. Goul Kosierowski, 95, of Avoca died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Taylor.

She was born in Avoca on July 16, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie Piehota Goul.
Jean was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish, Avoca. She attended Avoca schools.
Jean worked and retired from the local garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.
Jean was very dedicated and active in St. Mary's Church and Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Avoca.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, who died April 29, 1993; her son, John; and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph and his wife, Dina, Moosic; and Michael and his wife, Helene, Moosic. Also surviving are her brother, Joseph Goul, Moosic; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Queen of the Apostles Church, Hawthorne Street, Avoca, with the Rev. Phillip Sladicka officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Dupont.
