Jerome P. Salitis, 90, of Duryea passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Winn Yesalitis. He was a graduate of Duryea High School. He was previously employed by the former Trane Co., Dunmore.
He was preceeded in death by his brothers: John, Andrew, Thomas, Joseph, Theodore, Victor and Anthony; sisters, Sophie Marcinko, Leocadia Yesalitis, Susan Carey; and two infant sisters.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Brzoskotowski; son, Greg Salitis, and his companion, Sue Mcgeehan, of Exeter; son, Martin Salitis, and his wife, Maureen, of Olyphant.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Duryea.
