Joseph Mitchell Arale, 47, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of Nora Manfre and the late Robert D. Arale.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005, attaining the rank of corporal and receiving the Purple Heart. He was a loving person, always trying to make people laugh. He loved to cook and spend time in the kitchen. He will be missed by all that knew him,

Joseph is survived by his mother, Nora A. Manfre; sisters, Amy Curry, Diane Cook and Michelle McGraw; brother, John D. Arale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston. Military honors will be afforded at 7:30 p.m. by the U.S. Marines Corps.
