Joseph Rinaldo Beltrami Sr., beloved father and friend, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas.

"Joe Bell," as he was affectionately known, was a truly kind and generous man. Nothing meant more to him than the love and support he tirelessly gave to his family and friends.

Joe was born in Hazleton on March 18, 1941, to Mary (Vito) and Salvatore Beltrami.

He was employed by the accounting firm of Kronick Kalada Berdy & Co., Kingston, as a forensic accountant and was a certified fraud examiner (CFA) and enrolled agent (EA).

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph R. Beltrami Jr.; his parents, Mary and Salvatore Beltrami; his brothers, Nicholas, John, Anthony, Frank, Michael, Salvatore and Carmen Beltrami; and his sisters, Louise Mussoline, Fannie Mussoline, Nancy Marchese, Marie Carsia and Flora Lombargo.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Joleen Beltrami and her husband, Todd Schell, San Antonio, Texas; and Paula Mategrano and her husband, Lt. Col. Albert Mategrano III, Great Falls, Va.; grandchildren, Noah and Carmen Beltrami, Austin and Madison Schell and Matthew and Stella Mategrano; former wife, Paula (Mindick) Beltrami; brother, Louis Beltrami and his wife, Elaine; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Beltrami; sister-in-law, Anella Beltrami; brother-in-law, Salvador Carsia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fierro Funeral Service Inc., 26 W. Second St., Hazleton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Most Precious Blood Church, 131 E. Fourth St., Hazleton.
