Joseph T. Koslosky, 76, of Mountain Top, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born Oct. 28, 1941, in Luzerne, he was the son of the late Mrs. Helen Koslosky. He was a graduate of Luzerne High School and a member of St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top.

Joseph was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 781, Mountain Top.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, the former Barbara Rash; brother, Edward, Luzerne; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top.

Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Joseph's family would like to offer a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff atthe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp, for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Joseph's wife, Barbara, to be offered by her for a special veteran's project.
