Judith Claire Borchert, 79, of Rock Hill Road, passed peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family.

Born Sept. 1, 1939, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Iona Prochaska.

Jude worked for over 20 years and retired from the Kingston Hospital, N.Y., in the business office. After she retired, she continued to work for Benedictine Hospital, Kingston, N.Y., part-time.

Her passions were to travel, visit the casinos and crochet. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her sister, Charlene, and brother, Joseph.

Survivors include her husband, Eric William Borchert; two sons, Eric Jason Borchert, Hurley, N.Y.; and Thomas Jeffrey Borchert and his wife, Evelyn, High Falls, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Daniela, Morgan, Kirstin and Sophia; one great-grandchild, Mason; four sisters, Elizabeth, Carol, Johanna and Claire; and two brothers, Thomas and David.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, N.Y., where family and friends may visit from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday with a time of sharing beginning at 2 p.m.
