Julia M. Kobylski, 87, of Jackson Street, Edwardsville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Celtic Health Care, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by her loving family.

Julia was born in Edwardsville on Feb. 14, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Wilk Suchar.

Julia was a graduate of Edwardsville High School and a 1946 graduate of the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She loved nursing and retired from the nursing profession at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital in 1986.

She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville.

Julia's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Our "Mom" and "Grammy" was a constant source of love, faith, kindness and strength and will be our role model for life. She will be remembered for her gentleness in every word that she spoke and by every life that she touched.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kobylski, and brother, George Suchar.

Surviving are her three children, daughters, Eileen Kobylski, Edwarsdville; and Janet Kobylski, Edwardsville; and son, James Kobylski and his wife, Paula, Asbury, N.J.; and grandchildren, Madison, Case and Ella Kobylski, Asbury, N.J.

Funeral services for Julia will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Nesbitt Street, Larksville. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Courtdale. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until time of service at 9 a.m. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt St., Larksville, PA 18651.
