June Ann Kalinofsky Wallo of Lehman Twp., was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Luzerne County, and died peacefully in her sleep May 22, 2018, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, in Fredericksburg, Va.

June was the daughter of Andrew and Anna Kalinofsky, and survived by her four sisters, Helen Maslowski, Anna Koveleski, Florence Kalinofsky, and Jean Koval and by a brother, Henry Kalinofsky.

June graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1943. She married her husband, Andrew Wallo Jr., in 1948 and moved to Dallas, where they lived happily together and raised their children until Andrew passed away in 1998. June worked as a salesperson and buyer for Kresge's and then the Fashion Youth Center until she retired, but continued her actions as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a devout Christian. She attended St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church after marring Andrew. When she moved to Virginia, she attended Christ Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Sterling and then St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.

June is survived by her son, Andrew and his wife, Margi; son, Mark and his wife, Beth; her three grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron and Anne; and five great-grandchildren, Alisha, Andrew, Julianna, Jeremy and Jackson.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston.
