Leonard H. Boris, 59, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born April 27, 1953 in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Ann Kerlavage Boris and the late Leonard B. Boris. He was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School and attended King's College.
Mr. Boris was vice president and co-owner of Arrow Beer Distributors, which was founded by his late father. He was a member of Georgetown Friars Club.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Dr. Richard Kern and Joseph G. Hrobak; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul (Irene) Hrobak.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Patricia Hrobak; sister, Denise Kern; brothers, Gregory Boris and his wife, Kathy; Michael Boris and his wife, Mary Ellen; John Boris and his companion, Cyndy Shanks; Robert Boris and his wife, Lisa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul Hrobak, Leonard Hrobak and his wife, Marie; Robert Hrobak and his wife, Jean; and Mrs. Joseph (Sue) Hrobak; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the main site of St. Faustina's Parish, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newport Township. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgetown Friars Club or St. Faustina's Parish in Leonard's name.
