Leonard S. Kaminski of Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at his home.

Born Jan. 2, 1930, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Stephen and Stella Bojeska Stone.
Leonard was a 1948 graduate of Marymount High School, Wilkes-Barre.
He was employed by RC Cola, third mate for the Richard Reiss Steam Ship Co., and retired from Procter & Gamble Diaper Division in 1992.
Leonard served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Little Rock and USS Sabine.
He was a member of St. Andrew Parish, Wilkes-Barre, and was a former Webelo leader for Pack 1, Wilkes-Barre.
He enjoyed his family and family outings, playing his guitar, hiking and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory, in 2012; brothers, Gregory Kaminski, Romuald Stone, Bernard Kaminski and Clement Kaminski; and sister, Carol Goudy.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Fetzer, to whom he was married 55 years; sons, Leonard George Kaminski and his wife, Carrie, Clayton, N.C.; Raymond Kaminski and his wife, Deborah, Nanticoke; and Brian Kaminski and his wife, Kimberly, Mountain Top; daughters, Linda Bradley and her husband, Randy, Waverly, Kan.; Suzanne Jackiewicz and her husband, James, Exeter; Laura Sorokas and her husband, Robert, Plains Township; and Rosanne Niewinski and her husband, John, Mountain Top; grandsons, Cayce, Richard and Jonathan Kaminski, Joseph Bednarski, Joshua and Jacob Niewinski, Jared Jackiewicz and Robert Sorokas; granddaughters, Carrie Redmond, Lorrie Bray, Samantha and Abigail Sorokas, Jena Niewinski and Autumn Kaminski; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kyleigh and Liam Redmond and Ashton Bray; brothers, Stephen Kaminski and his wife, Janet, Mountain Top; and Gregory Stone and his wife, Ann, Big Flats, N.Y.; and sisters, Romaine Smith and her husband, Robert, Sherwood, Ore.; Pauline Hegadus, Penn Lake; Celine Lutinski, Mountain Top; and Irene Gray and her husband, George, Quinton, Va.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 26 in St. Andrew's Parish, Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
The family requests no flowers.
