Lois Weaver, 85, of Larksville, passed into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Celtic Hospice Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born May 15, 1933, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Bartosavage Yanovich and Alfonso Yanovich and Stephen Morgan.

She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1951. She was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Custom Cleaning Service, and prior to that, by H. Alters, Kingston. She was active as a seamstress with the garment industry throughout the Wyoming Valley.

In past years, she enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and she would spend her summers there as a teenager. She loved spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Weaver, in 2014; great-granddaughter, Antonnette Marcario, in 2007; and stepdaughter, Lori Shepherd, in 2004.

She is survived by her loving children, Deborah Wilson, Larksville; James Evanoski and his wife, Joanne, Philadelphia; Cathy Spak and her husband, Thomas, Wyoming; stepson, Elmer Weaver and his wife, Caroline, Plymouth; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores Morgan, San Ramon, Calif.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Lois' family would especially like to thank the nurses and staff at Celtic Hospice Geisinger South Wilkes Barre for their care and compassion.
