Margaret R. Slusarik, 93, of Plains Township passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the widow of John Slusarik Sr.

Margaret was born in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 12, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Tomko.
She was employed as an assembler-tester by RCA Corp., Mountain Top.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth. She also was a member of the Senior Citizens Club, Plains Township.
Seven sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughters: Barbara Seprish and her husband Edward, Edward Jr. and Charlene, Michael and Nancy and one daughter; Margaret Humko and her husband, William and Sheryl and James Zibro and her son John Slusarik Jr., Treveline and John and wives and five children; her grandchildren: Michael and Eddie Seprish and daughter, and Lisa and Michael Weykszner; 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday from Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, 136 Maffett St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Joseph Adonizio as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
