Marian A. Zacharias, 89, of Monroe Twp., passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Star Hill Rest Home of Monroe Twp.

Born in Kunkle, she was the daughter of the late Dory and Mirella Richards Schoonover. She was a graduate of Beaumont High School, Class of 1947. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an administrator at the Star Hill Rest Home, Monroe Twp.

Preceding her in death was a son, Dory Zacharias; and daughter, Clara Zacharias.

Surviving are her husband, Harry of 70 years; children, Harry Zacharias and his wife, Barbara; Sherry Murphy and her husband, Hugh; Mary Space; Carol Sherwood; Mildred Grey and her husband, Ronald; George Zacharias and his wife, Christine; Ralph Zacharias and his wife, Linda; Beatrice Clark and her husband, Richard, all of Beaumont; 130 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 state Route 309, Beaumont, Monroe Twp., with the Rev. Rick Wormer of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church officiating.

Interment will be in Zacharias Family Cemetery, Monroe Twp.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kunkle Fire Department, 3943 state Route 309 Highway, Dallas, PA 18618, or Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church, 181 Bridge St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
