Martha A. Warnagiris, 82, of Pittston, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at The Gardens at Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre.

Born Jan. 11, 1935, in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Constant and Anna Edonic Warnagiris. She graduated from Pittston High School and worked at Party Favor and Topps Bubblegum.

She was a former member of St. Casimir's Church, Pittston, and sang in the choir for many years. She was a past president of the Knights of Lithuania, Pittston Council 143, and a fourth-degree knight. She was also a past president of the Lithuanian Women's Club and a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union. Recently she belonged to St. John the Evangelist Parish, Pittston, and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are her brother, Joseph Warnagiris, Walnutport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Victor, Robert, Richard and Edward.

The funeral will be Thursday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston.

Friends may call in the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday.

Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston.

Arrangements are by Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home, Pittston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Lithuania, Council 143.
