Born July 27, 1930, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Buffone Fantauzzi.

Mary was first and foremost a loving mother and grandmother. As well, she was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt and a loyal and compassionate friend to many. She was also a card shark and a fabulous cook, both of which she enjoyed.

Mary was a homemaker most of her life and then enjoyed a fulfilling career as the parish secretary for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Berwick. During the course of her life, she was an active member of both St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and St. Mary's.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas M. Daddio Sr.; two brothers, Orlando and Ralph Fantauzzi; and two sisters, Elmira Scala and Gina Melito.

She is survived by her five children, Anne Daddio McNealis, Nicholas M. Daddio Jr., Dawn Daddio Lee, Mark J. Daddio and Michael A. Daddio, and 11 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from noon until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 721 Monroe St., Berwick, with the Rev. Matthew R. Larlick officiating as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Briar Creek.
