Melanie Motisko Obituary
Born May 29, 1943, in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Nina Morris Ruck.
Melanie worked in wedding planning and accessories and owned and operated Bridal Creations, Blackman Street, Wilkes-Barre, for over 25 years, retiring in 2006.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Henry M. Motisko Jr., on May 18, 2006.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Higgins and husband, Bill, Huntington Mills; and a son, Frank Dudinski, Steamboat Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Lexe Murgallis and Dustin and Nick Dudinski; a sister, Diane Lasecki and husband, Edward, Plymouth; and a niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke, with Deacon Florian Gyza, of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, officiating.
Viewing and visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of the service Tuesday.
Entombment will be in the Mary Mother of God Mausoleum in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Melanie's memory be made to your favorite charity.
