Michael J. Stanislow Jr., 67, of Kingston, and formerly of Jenkins Township, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Kingston on Sept. 3, 1945. He was the son of the late Michael J. Stanislow Sr. and Elizabeth Yudichak.

Michael served with the U.S. Army for six years during the Vietnam War and also served an additional 19 years with the 109th Artillery Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard.

Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and James Stanislow, and sister, Dorothy Sheard.

Surviving are sons, Michael Joel Stanislow and his wife, Mary Jean; and Kenneth Stanislow and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Logan, Landon and Madison; sister, Betty Burba; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley.
