Myron S. Kozich, 73, of Plains Twp., died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Plains Twp. on May 9, 1945, he was the son of George and Rose Repiscak Kozich. Myron was a 1963 graduate of Plains High School.

Upon graduation, Myron enlisted in the U.S. Army, served as a carpenter in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He received the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal and was a member of the American Legion.

He worked many years for Plains Twp. and retired from Owen-lllinois.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, Anne; brothers, Joseph and H. Peter Kozich; and sister-in-law, Erika.

Myron is survived by sons, David and Earl, Plains Twp.; brothers, Robert (Joan), Forty Fort; Andrew and Richard, Plains Twp.; David (Karen), Mountain Top; sister-in-law, Sandy Kozich, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp., with Panachida service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Kerestes, pastor, St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday with Pastas service at 4 p.m. at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp.

Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
