Nancy Ann Otway, 78, of Plymouth Twp., passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 17, 1940, in Plymouth Twp., and was the daughter of the late George and Clara Stubblebine Phillips.

Nancy was a loving caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She planted a garden of seven children and they grew and prospered with the help of her unconditional love. She would sacrifice everything for her family.

She attended the Harter High School and was employed as a machine operator in the manufacturing industry.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Irvin, Willard, Thomas and Daniel Phillips; sisters, Rose Ann Smith, Clara Norquest and Carrie Hulszier.

Nancy is survived by her children Russell (Charlene) Otway Jr., Nanticoke; Donna (John) Kollarick, Plymouth Twp.; Mark (Mary) Otway, Wilkes-Barre; David (Karla) Otway, Nanticoke; Deborah (Mark) Hozlock, Lehman Twp.; Darran (Marion) Otway Swoyersville; and Dwayne (Katherine) Otway, Florida.

She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Ella Bonjo, Louise Lee, Mildred Acosta, Dorothy Shymanski; and nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hampton House. You all become a part of our family. A special thank you to Kristy Lynn and Charlene for being so vigilant taking care of Mom. We would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for their care of Mom.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gift Of Life Organ donation organization. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc., Plymouth. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of service.
