Neil L. Conway Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, in Laporte.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Neil L. and Joan Mulhern Conway and was a graduate of St. Gabriel's High School Hazleton. Neil graduated from King's College and went on to attend The University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor. Neil practiced law for over 20 years in Luzerne County and upon his retirement from law practice worked in the Research and Development Office of University of Scranton.

Neil is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Tokach, Plains Twp.; daughters, Katherine Kotarski and her husband, Charles, Florida; Megan Bauducco and her husband, Paul, Philadelphia; Molly Kemp and her husband, Michael, Dunbarton, N.H.;, and a son, Justin Patrick Conway, Wilkes-Barre; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Joan, Beaver Meadows; and his brother, Michael Conway, Hazleton.

Neil was a practicing attorney in Luzerne County for many years, he was also a member of many professional and community organizations often leading and creating clubs and foundations. His interests were wide and varied from flying a private plane to fly fishing, gliders, golfing, birdwatching, kayaking and bagpipes. Neil's experiences and his adventurous spirit afforded him opportunities to meet interesting and wonderful friends whose lives he touched and who in turn enriched his life.
