Paul J. Seashock, 74, of Shickshinny, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 7, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp., where he had been a patient.

Born Dec. 16, 1943, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna Bolinski Seashock.

He served in the U. S. Army Green Berets during the Vietnam War and was employed by John Halliday Trucking. He was a member of Shickshinny American Legion Post 495.

Mr. Seashock was preceded in death by his sons, Michael, Timothy, David and John.

Surviving are his wife, the former Cynthia Kashnicki, whom he married Aug. 4, 1987; two sons, Paul J. Seashock Jr. and his wife, Debbie, Milford; and Robert Seashock, Bloomsburg; a daughter, Lisa Fish and her husband, Jody, Cherry Valley; two step-children, Jeannine Noss and her husband, Scott; and Jamie Adams and his wife, Stephanie, both of Shickshinny; numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Kinslee and Kylie; one sister, Theresa Bryer, Dunmore; his dogs, Windser and his beloved Holly; and numerous cats.

A private celebration of life will be held at the Shickshinny American Legion Post. A memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, in St. Faustina Parish, 520 S.
