Pauline B. DeMark, 83, of Pittston, died Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.

She was the wife of Louis DeMark. The couple had been married for 61 years.

Born in Port Blanchard, daughter of the late Peter and Anna Zarembgaw Kozden, she was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. She was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Topps Manufacturing, Duryea. She was previously employed as a seamstress by Pittston Apparel and the Ostico Dress Factory. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.

Also surviving are a daughter, Judy Carroll and husband, Tom, Carbondale; two sons, Louis DeMark, Old Boston; and Peter DeMark and wife Kim, Duryea; four grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Anthony and Louis DeMark; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Louis DeMark; a sister, Joan Di Giovine, Old Forge; three brothers, Andrew Kozden, Allentown; Edward Kozden, Kingston; and Thomas Kozden, New York City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Kozden, and three sisters, Nellie Zoflo and Mary and Rose Kozden.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Friday from Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St., Pittston.

Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
