Robert D. "Harvey" Wall Sr., 59, of Wyoming, formerly of Duryea, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at his home.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Kenneth and Betty Aston Shotwell, Duryea. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1976.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Penske Truck Leasing, Jessup.

He was a member of Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed hunting and being a mechanic. He was a former member of Excelsior Hose Company, Duryea, for 23 years, and a former member of Goodwill Hose Company, West Pittston.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Shotwell.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, the former Christine Perrine, Wyoming; sons, Robert Wall Jr. and his wife, Chanda, Converse, Texas; Patrick Wall, Harding; and Michael Wall and his wife, Lisa, Duryea; stepdaughter, Amy Richards, Kingston; stepson, Evan Wood, Kingston; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Robin Pesotini and her husband, Dennis, East Stroudsburg; and Donna Wall Meade, Avoca; brother, Kenneth Shotwell Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Duryea; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Brick United Methodist Church, 935 Foote Ave., Duryea, with the Rev. Sharon Dietz officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Germania Hose Company, 430 Foote Ave., Duryea.

Interment will be private.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to Patrick Wall, c/o Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, for a memorial dedication in his memory to the Cancer Survival Park.
