Robert Paul Dudeck, 70, of Whiting, N.J., died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at home.

He was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Nanticoke, the son of the late William and Mildred Vandermark Dudeck. He resided in Richfield, N.J., for 25 years, before moving to Whiting last year.

After graduating from Nanticoke High School, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and spent his tour of duty in Thailand. After his discharge, he was employed by PanAm International Airlines for 25 years in the accounting department, before retiring. While working for PanAm, he enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Surviving are his brothers, William and his wife, Marge, and Mel and his wife, Alice, both of Sheatown; nieces, Tracy Garnick, Jill and Sarah Dudeck; nephews, William, Mel and Christopher Dudeck; and many cousins and close friends.

Memorial gathering is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, N.J.
