Mr. Robert "Zeke" Zikosky, 82, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late John and Frances Matusavage Zikosky. Robert was a graduate of Pittston High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Kapa Graphics, Hughestown.

Robert was a loving dad and grandpa. He was an amazing woodworker and one of the best machinists and contractors.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary "Mame" Homschek, who passed away on May 2, 2018; his son, Robert, who passed away on May 31, 1981; brothers, Joseph, John and Walter; and sisters, Bernice, Frances, Betty, Anna, Helen and Marian.

Surviving are his daughter, Terry Hagan, and her husband, Jack, Bloomsburg; sons, Mark Zikosky, and his wife, Karen, Taylor; Kenny Zikosky, Pittston; and Ronald Zikosky, Oklahoma; grandson, Tyler Zikosky; granddaughter, Samantha Resilavage; sister, Dorothy Worth, King of Prussia; niece, Nicole Emiliani and her husband, Greg; several nieces and nephews; and his two buddies, Lorenzo and Santino.

Funeral services and interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. The Greater Pittston American Veterans will conduct military services.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery the morning of the funeral.
