Rosalie Mazur, 71, of Plymouth, passed into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born March 29, 1947, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late John Michael Mazur and Rose Mary Cackowski. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1965, a graduate of Wilkes College, Class of 1969, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and a graduate of the University of New York at Buffalo, N.Y., receiving her masters degree in clinical psychology in 1972.

Throughout her life, Rosalie was greatly devoted to her faith. She was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth. She was also a member of many church groups, including the Divine Mercy Reparation Group, the Charismatic Renewal and the Eucharistic Adoration.

Surviving are her aunt, Valeria Cackowski, West Nanticoke; cousins, Benjamin Mazur and his wife, Sharon, Florida; and Bill Cackowski and his wife, Frances, Maryland; and her dear pet cats, Baby and Joey.

Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Twp.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
