Rosemary A. Davis, 86, of Luzerne passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Mercy Center, Dallas.

Born in Pittston on March 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Brocani Forlenza. She attended Pittston High School.
She was a former member of St. Therese Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Rosemary and her husband, Marvin, lived in Washington, D.C., for 18 years, returning in 1969.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed part-time by the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.
Rosemary enjoyed cooking, astrology, watching CNN and an occasional trip to Pocono Downs. She loved and cherished all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Davis, in 2001; and brother, John Forlenza Jr.
She is survived by her son, Fred A. Davis and his wife, Lucille, Dallas; daughter, Debra Goldberg and husband, Ken, Devon; and grandchildren, Sarah Augustine, Eric, Lynn and Jenna Davis.
A Blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. The Rev. James Paisley will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Entombment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
