Rosemary A. Steckman Seferyn, 65, of Warrior Run passed away into her eternal home in heaven Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosemary was born in Wilkes-Barre on Dec. 24, 1948. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Mihalchick Steckman.
Rose was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West, Class of 1967.
She was employed by Balister Optical, Wilkes-Barre, for 35 years, retiring in 2010.
She was a member of Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch.
Rosemary was a kind and loving person with a big heart. She loved to travel, play bingo and visit various casinos. She especially loved to play cards with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 41 years of marriage, Walter (Duke) Seferyn; sisters, Mary Steckman and Dorothy Tomasura and her husband, Mark; brother, John Steckman and his wife, Karen; and sisters-in-law, Jeanette Sims, Victoria Kotz and her husband, Andrew, Stella Kuklewicz and her husband, Chester, Marian Woottan and Jane Gavlick and her husband, Steve. Numerous nieces and nephews and her cat, Sheba, also survive.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. John the Baptist Church, Nesbitt Street, Larksville.
Interment will be private and held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township, at a later date.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
