She loved to travel to the western national parks and especially enjoyed horseback riding in the mountains of Wyoming She also enjoyed showing her dog, Wyatt, at eastern regional dog shows. She was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Choir of the former Holy Rosary Slovak Church of Ashley. Before her life was cut short, her goal upon retirement was to spend as much time as possible with her adoring grandchildren.
