Sheila R. Marusak, 71, of Honey Pot, passed away peacefully Monday evening, Nov. 6, 2017, at home.

She was born in Nanticoke, was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys Jeffreys Blockus and was a member of the former St. Francis Church.

Sheila was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and continued her education at College Misericordia prior to receiving her master's degree in psychology from Marywood College.

After completing her education, she began her career working for Valley Counseling and Northeast Counseling as a psychologist.

Sheila was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John, in 2014.

Presently surviving are her sons, John and wife, Lori, Honey Pot; James, St. Paul, Minn.; and Billy and wife, Joanne, Honey Pot; and grandchildren, Gabby, Dylan, Abby, Austin, Hayley, Heidi, Johnny and Matthew.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. James Nash officiating. Interment will be private.
