Susan M. Lacina, 55, of Swoyersville passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lois Vendetti Rafalko. She was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Class of 1975, and attended Penn State Worthington Campus. Susan was employed by Burke Vullo Reilly Roberts Law offices as a paralegal for 17 years. She was a member of the Painted Turtle, a camp for children with serious medical conditions.

Surviving are her husband, Mark; sons, Jason Marko, Dickson City; Jonathan Marko, Swoyersville; grandchildren, Mia Marko, Gabrielle Marko and Maximus Marko; brothers, Frank Rafalko and his wife, JoAnn, Mountain Top; Dan Rafalko and his wife, Gina, Pottstown; nieces and nephews.

Susan was a loving and caring person who devoted her life to her family. She will be sadly missed by all of those who loved her.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Interment will be in the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, West Wyoming.

There will be no calling hours.
