Tyler Lanning Obituary
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 5, 1983, and was the son of Deborah A. Roszkowski and the late Richard A. Lanning.
Tyler was a caring, generous, independent man who loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed playing video games with his son, Jacob.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by uncle, Rodney Lanning.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Roszkowski and her partner, Edward Maslowski; son, Jacob William Lanning; partner, Lauren Stewart; brother, Vance Maslowski; sisters, Ashley and Nicole Maslowski; maternal grandparents, Carl and Marilyn Roszkowski; paternal grandparents, Connie Lanning and Tom Kazokas; aunt, Donna Strenfel; uncle, Ronald Lanning Jr.; and numerous cousins, family and friends.
A viewing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.

My condolences to all of Tyler's family and his girlfriend and son. Growing up with Tyler her hung out with a mouthy crowd, but Tyler was always the polite one, always courteous and that smile that always brightened a room. He will be greatly missed. Love forever.
