Viola (Peene) Eddy, 79, of Plymouth passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Kingston Commons.
She was born Oct. 14, 1933 in Wilkes-Barre and was the daughter of the late Earl Wallace and the late Bertha Armstrong Wallace.
She was formerly employed as a housekeeper by Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Flowers; brother, Earl Wallace; grandchildren, Debra Anne Wisnewski, Anthony Joseph Wisnewski and Michael Reese.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur; children, Georgianna Reese, Larksville; Arthur Eddy, Wilkes-Barre; Joseph Eddy, Hunlock Creek; Irene Pahler, Plymouth; Bertha Smith, Ashley; Clarence Eddy, Wilkes-Barre; Kathy Eddy, Hunlock Creek; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth.
Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends May call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family.
