Warren H. Glass, 80, of Mossville, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Abraham and Grace Joseph Glass and was a graduate of Midwood High School, Brooklyn, and also New York University, receiving a bachelor's degree in English as well as a master's degree in education from Stony Brook University.  

Warren was a teacher at Newfield High School, Long Island, N.Y.

He was an avid golfer and reader. He loved to spend time in his garden and travelled the world eating exotic foods and searching for new adventures.

Warren is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Margaret Osborne, at home; daughter, Abbe Mattson, Las Vegas, Nev.; and granddaughters, Corinne and Brittany Mattson. 

A funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
