William "Billy" Nolan, 43, of Exeter, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, unexpectedly at home.

Born in Scranton, on June 19, 1974, he was the son of Mary Lou Nolan and the late William Joseph Nolan.

William graduated from Wyoming Area and continued his education at LCCC, earning his certificate in the CDL training program.

He was last employed by Letica, Pittston, as a machine operator.

William is survived by his loving mother, Mary Lou Nolan, who stood by his side through thick and thin. She loved him unconditionally and under any circumstance. There is nothing in this world she wouldn't do for her son. She proved just how true a mother's love really is. He is also survived by his four-legged fur-child, Baby Bean, who he had such a special bond with and loved tremendously. In Billy's eyes, Bean was more than just a dog; he was his faithful companion, always by his side until the very end.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Nolan. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard and Susan Shannon; paternal grandparents, Leo and Irene Nolan; and his three cousins, Stephen Richard Hurrey Jr., Philip Strucke and Antoinette Strucke; all gone way too soon, but together again at last in peace.

Those who knew William knew he was truly one of a kind. There's no denying he was unique in his own special way. He could walk into a room and make anyone laugh with his crazy, off-the-wall, hilarious phrases and outgoing personality. His smile alone was contagious and lit up the room, no matter where he was or who he was with. This isn't goodbye for "Wild Bill." He will live on in all of our hearts until we meet again.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston.
