Elizabeth J. Klepac of Hanover Township and formerly of Beech Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully with family at her side Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born July 31, 1928 in Wilkes-Barre, she is the daughter of the late William and Grace Thomas Lowe. Known as Bettie, she was a graduate of GAR High School, Class of 1946, and was employed for many years by RCA Mountain Top. She was a caring mother and truly selfless person. She will be greatly missed.
Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Klepac; and her brother, Keith Lowe.
Surviving are her three children, Eric L. and his wife, Kathy Klepac, Louisville, Colo.; June Lynn and her husband, Charlie Bond, Plymouth; and Brian C. Klepac, Hanover Township; grandson, Chris Klepac; and granddaughter, Lauren Klepac; sisters, Rawleen Leeds, Laurel Run; Jean Boyle, Wilkes-Barre; her brothers, William Lowe, Sarasota, Fla.; Larry Lowe, Mountain Top; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is grateful to the surgical intensive care unit staff at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and the staff at Eye Care Specialists of Kingston.

A funeral will be held at the convenience of the family from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parish St., Wilkes-Barre, and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
