John J. Hudock Jr., 91, formally of Larksville, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Taylor.

John was born on Feb. 9, 1921; he was the son of the late John J. and Mary Pollock Hudock.
As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he proudly served his country in World War II and was awarded commendations and medal throughout his 13 years of service.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Juliette Piper Hudock, bothers; Daniel, Edward, Joseph and George. He is survived by his sisters; Mary Propp and husband, Clarence, Billings, Mont.; Jean Kraynak and husband, Quentin, Larksville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Fort Sam Houston Military Cemetery, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, Ashley.
