Mary T. Tomasik, 96, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Mercy Center, Dallas.

She was born in Larksville, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Rock Starzec. She was educated in Larksville schools, and was formerly employed by Blue Ribbon/Interstate Bakery in Kingston. Mary was a longtime member of the former St. Hedwig's Church, and its Rosary Society. She also was one of the pierogi makers and a volunteer worker for St. Hedwig's bazaars. She is currently a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Laurels, Dr. Radzwilka, Mercy Center, and Erwine Home Health for their care of Mary over the many years.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tomasik; brothers, John, Michael, and Bernard Starzec; and sisters, Rose Starzec and Emily Meszczynski.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Dallas.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
