Paul G. Fiske, 93, of Dallas passed away Monday morning, Dec. 31, 2012, at his home.

Born in Jackson Township, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edith Atkinson Fiske.

Sgt. Paul Fiske served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge, which was one of the largest and bloodiest battles the Americans fought in World War II. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and three Bronze Stars.

For 40 years he was owner and operator of P&K Auto Body Shop of Dallas with his son, Charles, and his brother, Jack.

He was a member of Dallas United Methodist Church, Dallas American Legion Post 672 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 283 of Kingston.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 57 years, the former Margie Evans; brother, Loren (Jack) Fiske; and sister, Evelyn Allabaugh.

Surviving are children, Evelyn Fiske Walsh and her husband, Michael, Harveys Lake; Paul Fiske and his companion, Sharon White, Shavertown; Charles Fiske, Dallas; and Diane Fiske Maginley and her companion, Bill Dierolf, Dallas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Paul loved being around people and loved to dance. He will be missed by many and left everyone he met with wonderful memories.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dallas United Methodist Church, 4 Parsonage St., Dallas, with the Rev. Robert G. Wood officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. in Dallas United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dallas United Methodist Church, 4 Parsonage St., Dallas, PA 18612.
