The Guest Book is expired.
Born Dec. 13, 1959, in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Ashley.
Jerry was a 1978 graduate of West Side Area Vocational-Technical School. After graduation, he attended the Day Development program, where he enjoyed being with his many friends and counselors.
For the past 25 years, Jerry led an active and happy life while living at his group home residence. The Impact Systems staff provided Jerry with much love and support that allowed him to life his life to the fullest. He adored his roommates and caregivers and looked forward to going with them on their many outings.
A lover of life, Jerry was an avid bowler, skilled swimmer, arts and crafts aficionado and lively dancer. His smile was contagious and warmed your heart.
Without a doubt, Jerry was a loving brother and uncle and truly relished visiting with his family. Singing and dancing to 1960s music with his family and friends was a favorite pastime, and a visit at home would not be complete without spending time with Buster, his best dog friend. He and Buster had a special bond.
