June Bayer DeFalco, 80, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Commonwealth Hospice at St. Luke's Villa, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Lehman Township on Oct. 8, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Jenkins Lord. She was a graduate of Lehman High School.
June was formerly employed by Leslie Fay and later retired as an office manager at Fox Pocono Pools.
June enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and to Atlantic City with her husband. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and baking Christmas cookies.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bayer.
Surviving are her husband, Louis P. DeFalco; sons, Bruce Bayer, Swoyersville; Keith Bayer and companion, Edward Fataicher, Edwardsville; Eric Bayer and his wife, Joanne, Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Alisa Bayer, Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Walter and her husband, Philip, Dallas; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, the Rev. Peter Kuritz, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
