Jacqueline Ciaverella Nieuelder of Chestnut Street, Hanover Township, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born April 20, 1978, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Joyce Ann Ciaverella and the late John Koch.
She was a graduate of Hanover Area, Class of 1996, and received a master's degree in Reiki healing, spiritual and holistic healing. She attended McCann School of Business for massage therapy. She was formerly employed as a medical aide and assistant throughout the Wyoming Valley. Jacki was a loving and devoted mother to her three children, which were everything to her.
She is survived by her children, David Geiger, Sharitia Nieuelder and Somora Nieuelder, all of Hanover Township; brothers, Louis Seess and John Koch Jr.; maternal grandmother, Rita Ciaverella; nieces, Julianna and Dominique; numerous aunts and uncles; and companion, Floyd (Cartel) Lewin.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul Ciaverella; paternal grandparents, John and Patricia Koch; and cousin, Mason Eckhart.
The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Those who desire may give memorial contributions to a scholarship fund in the name of her children.
