Marilyn Rosenberg, 80, of Kingston, formerly of Shavertown, died Saturday evening, Feb. 1, 2014, at Manorcare, Kingston.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, and residing in the Wyoming Valley all her life, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Kornfeld Wolfe.
Marilyn was a graduate of GAR High School and was employed in women's retail as a saleswoman.
She was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, the Jewish Community Center and other civic and religious organizations.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, and brothers, Charles Wolfe and Leon (Label) Wolfe.
She is survived by her daughter, Roslyn and her husband, Dr. William Forstate, Pittsburgh; son, Scott D. Rosenberg, Edgewater, N.J.; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Sylvia Forstate and Stephanie Rosenberg.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan and Cantor Ahron Abraham officiating.
Interment will be in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Shiva will be observed from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at 115 First Ave., Kingston.
