Angelo Morganti, 65, of Pittston entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at home following a brief illness.
Born in Pittston on July 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Sam (Semo) and Helen Sciandra Morganti.
He excelled as a car salesman, earning the Legion of Leaders Honor. Angelo also was the proud owner and operator of Morgan Auto & Truck Sales. His greatest accomplishments were his children.
Angelo is survived by his son, Sammy, Pittston; and daughter, Natalie, Portland, Ore. Also surviving are his ex-wife and caregiver, Joanne Rava Morganti, Hazleton; brother, Carmen, and nephews, Michael and Mark, Norfolk, Va.; uncle, Charles Sciandra, Exeter; numerous cousins, friends and special friend, Nancy Gerrity Rinaldi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelo's name to the Luzerne County SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.
Viewing hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Those who plan on attending should be at the funeral home no later than noon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph Marello Parish, William Street, Pittston, at 1 p.m. Monday.
Interment services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
